I knew this was gunna break my heart from the first lines, and it didn't disappoint. but its broken in a good way, like oh wow that was epic. this was really amazing. you know my weak spot, but even still the writing is beautiful and the characters stick. and I'm no historian, but I don't think you had anything to worry about. and maybe I was looking for it, but I love the light in this story. The sunshine and cracks and slices and reflections of light! it's gorgeous the way you write it. I love, love, love it.
