I may have mentioned that I discovered SGA fandom purely by accident. The first few bits of it I read were alternately enthralling and badfic tripe in equal measure. I hadn't even HEARD of stackhouse and Markham really until I wandered in here.

But Pieces and Strands are actually tied with the Giftedverse created by Springwoof and Leah as my favorite bodies in this entire fandom, and in the sci-fi genre actually.
Contains all the elements that keep my attention for various reasons.

As I said, your exploration of Adam's character and Jamie's in the prequel to this were very compelling. It may have been a considerable amount of time since you looked in here, but really, read through it. You did amazing things here.

I cannot encourage you enough to complete this work. It really deserves it.

Now then, off to sample that Cure you mentioned.
